As the Aboriginal Health Worker within the Shoalhaven Binji & Boori community-based Child and Family Health team you'll play an important role in supporting children and their families throughout those critical early years (0-5yrs). In this role, you'll build strong relationships with Aboriginal families, connect children and families to the care they need, advocate for them across the health system, and work alongside nurses, midwives and other health professionals to provide culturally safe care. You'll also have the opportunity to lead community development and health promotion activities, helping to strengthen connections between the service and the community. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and can adapt to changing priorities.
