The Opportunity Join a collaborative finance team on an initial 3-month contract, supporting the organisation in a key area. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and fortnightly payroll, while supporting a small, hands-on finance function. Offering a part-time role, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer looking for a varied, end-to-end finance role with an immediate start. The Role The role is part-time (25–26 hours per week), with flexible working arrangements available for the right candidate. You will provide additional support across the organisation’s finance and payroll functions. Joining a small finance team, you will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure critical finance processes continue to run smoothly. As an Accounts and Payroll Officer, your responsibilities include: • Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities through NetSuite • Processing fortnightly payroll end-to-end for approximately 48-55 employees using Employment Hero • Completing corporate credit card and bank reconciliations • Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations The Ideal Person The ideal candidate will be available to commence in the first or second week of August or sooner. You will have strong experience across payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ideally gained within a small to medium-sized private or not-for-profit organisation. You’ll enjoy working in a small, hands-on team, have a positive attitude, be quick to learn new systems and processes, and be able to add value from day one. Previous experience with NetSuite and Employment Hero would be highly regarded but is not essential.
