About the Role This position is based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital with possibility of movement to both Canterbury Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Hospital In The Home sites as needed. This role will provide administrative cover to the following services within SLHD: Access Care Team (ACT), Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) Outreach, and Hospital In The Home (HITH); and will also support the work activities of nurses, medical staff and other allied health professionals working within these services.
The role will provide timely and accurate administrative services for members of the health care teams attached to the identified Services under the direction of the designated Service Manager/Senior staff. The incumbent will work under broad supervision, but will be required to take some independent action. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures. Decisions affecting the overall functions and management of the Service remain the responsibility of the NUM/Program Manager/Staff Specialist and CNS.

• Previous experience in an administrative setting with established high level computer literacy and typing skills including Microsoft Programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Knowledge of Medicare billing. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
