An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Support Officer to join the South Western Centre Against Sexual Assault (SWCASA). As the first point of contact for clients, families and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming, supportive and professional environment. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, with the ability to respond to sensitive and often complex situations with empathy, compassion and professionalism. Working within a highly confidential setting, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the service, including reception duties, appointment scheduling, client record management, client brokerage coordination and administrative support for SWCASA programs and committees. The ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrate sound judgement and maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. What you bring • Sound knowledge and experience in a variety of computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office. • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads and perform daily tasks with a significant level of accountability and responsibility. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with management and staff. • Clear understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality in a highly sensitive office environment. • Experience in working with medical records and qualifications within Office Administration would be advantageous but not essential. • A customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to support clients and colleagues. • Compassion, empathy and respect when interacting with individuals who may have experienced trauma.
