We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinician to join the CAMHS Youth Mental Health Initiative Team, delivering specialist youth mental health care to young people aged 12–25 years and their families within the headspace platform.   About the Opportunity As a CAMHS Youth Mental Health Initiative Clinician, you will provide rapid response assessment, assertive outreach, intensive case management and evidence-based therapeutic intervention for young people experiencing severe and complex mental health concerns. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will support young people whose needs may not be adequately addressed by headspace services alone, ensuring they receive coordinated, recovery-focused and trauma-informed care. This position plays a key role in improving access, engagement and continuity of care for young people across the Central Coast. In this role you will: • Provide rapid response assessment, assertive outreach and intensive case management to young people aged 12–25 years experiencing complex mental health needs. • Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions that promote recovery, engagement and positive mental health outcomes. • Work collaboratively with young people, families and carers to develop, implement and review individualised care plans. • Coordinate care and build strong partnerships with CAMHS, headspace, inpatient units, GPs, schools and community services. • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team committed to improving access, continuity of care and service quality for young people.

For more information about this role, please view the Position Description     About You We are looking for someone who has: • Relevant qualifications and registration/eligibility in one of the approved disciplines, with experience in youth mental health or related clinical settings. • Demonstrated skills in mental health assessment, risk assessment, case management and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. • Experience working with young people experiencing severe, complex and high-risk mental health presentations. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, families and service providers. • A commitment to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and family-inclusive practice within a multidisciplinary environment.
