For more information please visit www.statetrustees.com.au About the Role Internally known as an Attorneyships Consultant, you will provide a high level of customer service and make financial and legal decisions for a portfolio of clients under an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) arrangement. As a case manager, you will manage a mix of clients who have capacity and non-capacity and we be required to tailor your service based on their capacity. Within this role, you will: • Liaise directly with clients and their family members • Engage regularly with service providers and industry professionals to ensure clients daily bills are paid for and they receive the service and benefits in accordance with their needs • Assist our clients so they have a smooth entry into aged care • Ensure clients' assets are protected and managed in their best interest, including preparing properties for sale • Develop and maintain client budgets including approving payments • Prepare high quality reports to external organisations, such as VCAT Skills and Experience To be successful you will need to demonstrate: • Strong customer service, problem solving and negotiation skills • Administration or case management experience (preferred) • Ability to communicate effectively to our clients or their representative/s over the phone and in writing. We are looking for someone who will treat our clients like they are ‘part of their family' • Ability to prepare professional and customer focussed correspondence, reports, and recommendations • Superior organisational and planning skills • Resilient approach to provide the best service for our clients • Understanding of lifestyle issues faced by clients Ideally you will understand financial products and an ability to design financial budgets.
