What your day could look like
As a Clinical Informatics Officer, you'll help connect people, processes and technology to support better healthcare outcomes. Working with clinical and operational teams, you'll turn information into practical improvements that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
• Improving digital systems and workflows that support safe, efficient care.
• Using data and insights to identify opportunities for better patient and service outcomes.
• Supporting staff to confidently use clinical information systems and tools.
• Contributing to projects and improvement initiatives that drive innovation across the health service.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
• Relevant experience in healthcare, digital health, informatics or a related field.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting system improvements, data-driven decision-making or quality initiatives.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
You'll stand out if you have postgraduate studies in informatics, digital health or a related discipline and/or experience working with clinical information systems in a regional healthcare setting.
