About this role

We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Coach to our Waratah Inpatient Mental Health Unit.

The Mental Health and Specialised Services Team aim to work together to assist individuals with mental health and addiction illnesses to realise their optimal potential as individuals and as valued citizens of the community through facilitating access to a comprehensive, recovery-oriented mental health system that improves mental health for Queenslanders. The Clinical Nurse Coach will lead and deliver person centred care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards for Practice, via facilitation of the competence and confidence of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.

• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.

• Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.

Remuneration value up to $139,252 p.a., comprising salary between $113,979- $122,048 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%). (Nurse Grade 6 (1)). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
