Cardiac Services delivers culturally safe and clinically effective cardiac outreach across rural and remote communities within the Townsville Hospital and North West Hospital and Health Services. The service works within the Network Cardiac Services model to improve access, coordination of care and cardiac outcomes closer to home.

• Salary range: $140,632 to $152,685 p.a. (NG7)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity:
Aa a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Cardiac Outreach , you will provide cardiac nursing care and support multidisciplinary cardiology services and diagnostics in rural and remote communities. You will improve access to cardiac care, strengthen coordination between community and tertiary services, and support timely diagnosis and management for people with exiting cardiac conditions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
• Possession of a postgraduate qualification is highly desirable
• Travel may be required
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
