Copilot Technical SME / Senior Developer Brisbane CBD | Contract Opportunity Are you a Microsoft Copilot Studio expert passionate about building enterprise-grade AI solutions? We're seeking an experienced Copilot Technical SME / Senior Developer to join a high-performing Power Platform team delivering innovative AI capabilities across a large and complex enterprise environment. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and scale an organisation's Microsoft Copilot Studio capability, driving the delivery of secure, governed, and production-ready AI Agent solutions. This is not a general Power Platform Developer role. We're looking for someone with proven, hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions. About the Role As the Copilot Technical SME, you'll provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with solution delivery. You'll work alongside architects, platform specialists, security teams, and business stakeholders to establish best practices, develop reusable AI patterns, and deliver intelligent agent solutions that provide real business value. You'll also play a key role in mentoring technical teams, uplifting organisational capability, and helping evolve enterprise AI delivery practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI Agent solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio. • Lead conversational design, prompt engineering, orchestration, and knowledge integration. • Develop scalable, reusable, and secure Copilot Studio solutions aligned with enterprise standards. • Contribute to AI governance, delivery frameworks, and operational best practices. • Work closely with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure compliance and secure solution delivery. • Support DevOps and ALM practices for Copilot Studio solutions. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to internal development teams. • Review and provide technical assurance for vendor-delivered AI solutions. • Assist in transitioning AI solutions into production and ongoing support. About You You'll be an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio professional who has successfully delivered enterprise AI Agent solutions from design through to production. Essential Skills & Experience • Demonstrated commercial experience delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio . • Strong experience with Power Platform , including Power Automate and Dataverse . • Proven expertise in: • AI Agent design and development • Conversational design • Prompt engineering • Knowledge integration • Secure enterprise deployment • Experience with DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Copilot Studio solutions. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership. Highly Desirable • Azure AI Services and Microsoft AI Foundry. • Enterprise integration using REST APIs and connectors. • AI governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI practices. • Experience establishing enterprise AI delivery models and governance frameworks. • Experience transitioning AI solutions from proof of concept to production. • Experience working within large enterprise or government environments.
