About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. About the Role We are seeking a Court Officer Program Coordinator to lead, train and support a team of Court Officers who facilitate court proceedings both in court and online. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape and develop the next generation of Court Officers within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. Working closely with the Judiciary, Registry Managers and staff, the MCV Learning and Development team, and members of the legal profession, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality judicial support services across the Court. As the Court Officer Program Coordinator, you will combine your extensive court knowledge with your passion for coaching and capability development. You will lead the training, mentoring and ongoing support of Court Officers—law graduates undertaking a two-year program—helping them build the skills and confidence required to operate effectively in both online and open court environments. Operating within a complex, fast-paced and high-demand setting, you will drive service excellence by ensuring Court Officers are proficient in court procedures, time management, workload prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, communication, court etiquette, document management and matter readiness. Your leadership will directly contribute to the efficient operation of the Court and the delivery of outstanding support to the Judiciary and court users. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with Magistrates, court executives and key stakeholders to deliver best-practice judicial support in a fast-paced and evolving court environment. About You • Must be an experienced Magistrates' Court Registrar having completed the necessary traineeship. • Excellent Registrar skills and the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with stakeholders from across the court environment. • Ability to identify inefficient processes and work with stakeholders to recommend and implement improvements. • Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and mentor Court Officers as they build capability and develop in their roles.
