We're currently searching for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer – to join our Arts Centre team. Position details Casual Job Number: R2765 Applications Close: 4pm, Thursday 13 August 2026 About the Opportunity This role is a great opportunity to be the welcoming face of the Mildura Arts Centre, helping visitors enjoy a positive and memorable experience. You'll provide friendly, professional service, assist with enquiries, support theatre, café and administrative activities and contribute to the smooth delivery of events and daily operations. We're looking for someone who is approachable, adaptable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a vibrant arts environment. What you will bring Ideally the successful applicant will have the following: • Demonstrated experience in Customer Service, Events and/or Hospitality Industry with a strong interest in events / arts. • High standard of verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to liaise confidently with members of the public and members of staff. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the accurate operation of various computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software and Electronic Document Management Systems. • Demonstrated appreciation of need for confidentiality and discretion. • Experience in cash handling, bank reconciliation, stock reconciliation, and in the use of computerised receipting systems. • The ability to work across a seven day roster including evenings and weekends • Hold a current satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children’s Check or be willing to obtain one. • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (VIC) certificate or be willing to obtain one. Salary and conditions The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $46.00 per hour plus statutory superannuation (25% casual loading included).
