The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian - Senior (Eating Disorder) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
• Manage workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic services
• Apply professional judgement to complex caseloads adapting routine clinical practice
• Contribute to clinical research activities within the area of nutrition and dietetics
• Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, service managers and stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
• Tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics
• Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and accredited practising Dietitian (apd) credential
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
• Permanent part time (15.2 hours per fortnight)
• Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

Nutrition and Food Services department provides leadership for effective and efficient Nutrition and Hydration management in conjunction with the key stake holders. The Nutrition and Food Services department is committed to safe, effective optimal nutrition management for adult and paediatric patients as well as education and training, credentialing and scope of clinical practice, performance management reports, evidence-based care, monitoring of variation in clinical practice and health outcomes.
