For more information on working with us and our recruitment process, please visit Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria | Jobs (www.dffh.vic.gov.au/jobs) THE ROLE As Director, Housing Strategy and Investment, you will be responsible for leading the development of Homes Victoria's budget strategy and business case development, translation of funding decisions into strategic directions and drive the development of social and affordable housing strategy and housing system reforms to drive better outcomes. The Unit is also responsible for the operational and tenancy management of the Homes Victoria Affordable Housing Rental Scheme and the design and delivery of initiatives to grow additional affordable housing. You will work across government, with stakeholders and sector partners to deliver on government's commitment to grow social and affordable housing. Please note that this role is a part time, job share arrangement for 5 years. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE • Lead the development of Homes Victoria's budget strategy and budget business cases for services and capital; negotiating and leading capital investment cases and leading continuous improvement of the evidence base underpinning investment. • Translate funding decisions into strategic directions by delivering on the annual and longer-term plans through the critical relationships across the Department. • Drive the development of a social and affordable housing strategy, along with leading the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives.
