• EL2 equivalent role • Baseline Security Clearance required • Work with external law enforcement, regulatory and Fraud Fusion Taskforce agencies Our client, a government agency dedicated to supporting veterans and their families, requires the services of a Director of Fraud & Compliance within the intelligence team. Duties of the Director of Fraud & Compliance: • The Director, Intelligence is accountable for leading the effective delivery of provider intelligence capabilities that support the Clients provider fraud and non-compliance response. The role aligns to the ILS leadership dimensions of Shapes Strategic Thinking, Achieves Results, Cultivates Productive Working Relationships, and Exemplifies Personal Drive and Integrity; • Providing people, strategic and operational leadership on strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence, including intake and assessment, and ensuring a high level of integration and consistency across the provider integrity division; • Leading the production of a range of high-quality intelligence products informing and impacting decision-making for internal and external stakeholders, targeting non-compliance, payment integrity, and organised fraud across the veteran support system; • Influencing and developing strategy, policies, priorities, and operational practices. This includes prioritisation of emerging cases and risks, working with peers to advance the early detection of integrity cases for appropriate treatments and identifying opportunities for process innovation. Skills required: • Demonstrated experience leading an intelligence function in a complex operational, regulatory, law enforcement, integrity, or national security environment; • Strong strategic intelligence capability, including the ability to identify emerging threats, assess risk, set intelligence priorities, and translate intelligence into practical operational and executive decision-making. • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams, set clear priorities, manage performance, and build a professional, inclusive, and high-performing culture; • Strong understanding of intelligence governance, information handling, privacy, security, and legislative obligations, with a commitment to lawful, ethical, and transparent intelligence practice.
