About this role
QCS is seeking a dedicated Disability Services Clinician to contribute to meaningful change for people with disabilities in custody. As part of our specialist Disability Services Team, you will conduct and coordinate evidence-based assessments, triage referrals, and deliver person-centred support for individuals with cognitive disability, neurodiversity, acquired brain injury and other impairments affecting daily functioning. You will assist prisoners to access the NDIS and obtain key supports when they return to the community.Working alongside multidisciplinary colleagues and frontline staff, you will build strong relationships across correctional centres and with key external partners including the NDIA. Your work will directly shape the pathways available to prisoners with disability, from assessment and behavioural support through to reintegration and community support.
