About the role: Are you: • Able to establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment • An excellent organiser that can provide high-level and accurate administrative support The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive and project support to Senior Executives and their branches. Key duties include managing the Executive's inboxes and calendars, ensuring timely and accurate briefing coordination, maintaining registers and SharePoint sites, and other business support activities. The role involves managing multiple priority commitments. The Executive Assistant is also responsible for providing timely advice to stakeholders, both verbal and written, and maintaining positive relationships to facilitate a partnership approach. They communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including other executive and ministerial offices. This role requires self-motivation, commitment, excellent relationship-building skills, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt plans to changing priorities. The Executive Assistant must work proactively to ensure optimal time management, demonstrate strong Microsoft Office and IT skills, and exhibit initiative and flexibility in their work practices. About you: • Accurately managing the office's events diary • Making travel and accommodation arrangements. • Exercises professional judgement about the application of rules, or the selection of choices within guidelines • Plans, leads and facilitates information sessions and consultative processes in a range of settings • Monitor and review the quality of corporate support systems and processes and work collaboratively with others to continuously improve service delivery that enhances professional standards Qualification/Specialist Expertise • A qualification in business, project management and or working in government would be advantageous but not required. • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in managing and supporting departmental executive functions and processes would be advantageous.
