About this role

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient, effective, ethical, confidential and professional executive support, coordinated information and credible advice to the Executive Manager, ensuring effective functioning of the office

• Facilitate accurate and effective communication by tracking and distributing correspondence and maintaining and updating confidential and high-quality record in line with legislative requirements

• Deliver high quality administrative and executive support within tight deadlines, to ensure the Executive Manager is enabled to perform their role

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and stakeholders within FSQ, the department, other government agencies and external parties in relation to the timely provision of services

• Provide and coordinate quality control for the administration of the Executive Manager's meetings, including prioritisation, coordination and evaluation of forward agendas, meeting papers, briefs and follow-up actions arising from meetings

• Develop, implement, maintain and review comprehensive administrative systems, financial and human resource management practices and procedures, and filing and records management to ensure effective performance and outcomes

• Prioritise and resolve problems arising from conflicting requests, using discretion and within defined boundaries, autonomously redirect and respond to matters on behalf of the Executive Manager

• Undertake other duties as required relating to the operational area and needs of the Executive Manager
