Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is situated in the Shire of Loddon and provides services to more than 5,500 residents in the communities of Bridgewater, Inglewood, Korong Vale, Newbridge, Serpentine, Tarnagulla, Wedderburn and surrounding townships. All IDHS facilities are conveniently located on one site – encompassing urgent care, acute, community and residential aged care. IDHS also offers a diverse range of services including diabetes education, community and district nursing, counselling, cardiac rehabilitation, planned activity groups, volunteer and strength training programs. Position Title: Graduate Enrolled Nurse Classification: IB68 Salary range per hour: $38.13 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028 Role description We are seeking motivated and compassionate Graduate Enrolled Nurses to join our Graduate Nurse Program. This program is designed to support newly qualified nurses in consolidating clinical knowledge and developing the skills required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care across a range of healthcare settings. As a Graduate Enrolled Nurse, you will be supported to transition into professional practice while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses • Conduct clinical assessments in accordance with organisational policies and procedures • Integrate theoretical knowledge into clinical practice to support high-quality care delivery • Communicate effectively and contribute to multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Prioritise workload based on patient acuity and care needs • Practice within scope in line with ANSAT and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards • Participate in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities • Perform comprehensive and systematic nursing assessments • Contribute to workplace health and safety practices • Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the organisation • About you • Diploma of Nursing (recently completed or completing soon) • Eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment • Demonstrated commitment to delivering person-centred care • Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow in clinical practice • Understanding of evidence-based practice principles Please refer to the relevant attached position description and address the key selection criteria on your cover letter when applying.
