You’ll work with committed teams and contribute to major projects shaping how people live, move and connect. Delivering Victoria’s Big Build takes people from many disciplines working together in complex, creative environments. Depending on your stream, you may work with project teams, specialists, consultants, contractors and industry partners across different industries. You’ll support planning and urban design activities that shape how major rail infrastructure integrates with surrounding communities, precincts and public spaces. In this role, you will: • Support planning and urban design activities that contribute to the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects. • Gain exposure to station precinct planning, public spaces and place-making outcomes that help shape communities across Victoria. • Contribute to planning approvals, stakeholder engagement, research and project documentation. • Work alongside planners, urban designers, architects and landscape architects to understand how infrastructure projects are planned, designed and delivered. Eligible degrees: Urban Design, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Rural Planning, Town Planning, Architecture, Architectural Design When you join the program, you'll be employed full time at a salary of $81,496 + superannuation (as per VPS EA 2024). About you We are seeking recent graduates, and representatives of Victoria's diverse community to join the 2027 Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Program. To be eligible, you must: • Have completed a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree between January 2024 and January 2027. • Have full Australian working rights for the entire duration of the program (February 2027 to February 2029). • If you have completed a master’s degree, you must have commenced your master’s within 12 months of completion of your bachelor’s degree . • Have an interest in working in the infrastructure projects as part of the Victorian Government. • Desirable: A valid Victorian drivers’ licence and access to a vehicle.
