• Lead and promote a whole-school culture of inclusive education where every student can belong, participate and thrive.

• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with students, staff, families and the wider school community.

• Advocate for students by ensuring their individual strengths, needs and aspirations inform decision-making.

• Lead and inspire staff to implement evidence-informed and inclusive practices.

• Coordinate effective case management processes for students with diverse learning needs.

• Oversee the development, implementation and review of reasonable adjustments and personalised learning supports.

• Build staff capability and confidence in supporting students with disability and diverse learning needs.

• Provide leadership and oversight of departmental processes relating to inclusive education.

• Ensure accurate documentation, consultation and resourcing for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).

• Embed NCCD requirements and inclusive practices into whole-school systems and processes.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to support students with complex learning and wellbeing needs.

• Strengthen transition processes for students moving into, within and beyond the school.

• Use legislation, data and evidence to inform planning, resource allocation and school improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and evaluate inclusive education practices to improve student outcomes.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to drive strategic priorities and continuous school improvement.

• Foster high expectations, collaboration and a student-centred approach across the school community.

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive school culture that empowers every student to achieve their potential.
