About this role

Moyne Health Services in Port Fairy invites applications from qualified Health Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team on a part time or casual basis. About the Role The primary objective of the Health Care Worker is to deliver safe, high-quality care that upholds the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident/participant in accordance with the Aged Care Act 2025. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the role provides person-centred, strengths-based support that is responsive to everyone's goals, preferences, and assessed needs. The Health Care Worker enables choice, promotes independence, and supports the wellbeing of residents/participants by partnering with them (and, where appropriate, their families and representatives) to ensure care is respectful, culturally appropriate, and aligned with what matters most to the individual—supporting them to live a meaningful life of their choosing About You Minimum Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Home and Community Care Key Selection Criteria: • Experience in providing person-centred care, to frail aged people. • Ability to identify and problem solve, effectively. • Understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Well-developed communication skills About Us Moyne Health Services is a public, not for profit, integrated healthcare service that helps meet community healthcare needs in Port Fairy and surrounding districts in the Moyne Shire. Employing more than 200 people, MHS operates a 12 bed acute hospital, 2 Aged Care Residences with a total of 82 beds, primary and community care services, social support group programs and Allied Health Services.
