About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide advice and support to clients at the operational level within a centre of excellence in understanding of applied HR policy and entitlements, HR processes and administration with a continuous improvement agenda in identifying and implementing efficiencies in providing access to advice for team members and line managers across the Metro North workforce.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Respond to incoming calls, emails and other communication channels, providing comprehensive, contemporary advice to clients based on current HR policies and entitlements in a timely and accurate manner. Manage a high volume of written enquiries, preparing professional and informative email responses that clearly articulate HR processes, policy requirements and entitlements, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and a high standard of customer service.

• Provide follow-up advice and support to clients where required following calls and other enquiries, including timely written email communication. Ensure all client interactions are accurately documented and logged within the appropriate systems to support effective reporting requirements and the delivery of high-quality HR Services Hub outcomes.

• Work in collaboration with the HR Advisors in the HR Services Hub and escalate complex matters to the HR Services Hub team leader where appropriate.

• Actively promote the services of the HR Services Hub to clients and utilise knowledge of People and Culture Directorate functions to guide, educate and redirect clients to the appropriate People and Culture team, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of enquiries.
