The Opportunity This is a key People and Culture Business Partner role where you will work closely with senior leaders to shape culture, capability, and performance across the organisation. You will be the trusted HR advisor for your business areas, influencing outcomes across employee relations, talent acquisition, performance, remuneration, and engagement. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, complexity, and genuine partnership with leaders. You’ll be supported by a collaborative People and Culture team and a manager who values practical thinking, sound judgement, and strong relationships. The Role As a hands-on HR Business Partner, you’ll support key business areas and leaders across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: • Acting as the primary HR contact for allocated business groups • Partnering with senior leaders to provide practical HR advice and coaching • Supporting employee relations matters, including interpretation of legislation and policy • Contributing to performance, remuneration, and workforce planning activities • Supporting recruitment activity in partnership with external providers • Delivering and supporting strategic People & Culture initiatives • Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders • Ensuring HR advice aligns with legislative, policy, and compliance requirements • Contributing to a safe, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture The Ideal Person You are an experienced HR professional who is confident working in a complex environment and comfortable partnering with senior leaders. You bring a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice, along with the ability to translate this into clear, practical advice. You are someone who builds trust quickly, communicates with clarity, and handles sensitive matters with discretion. You enjoy balancing operational demands with strategic contribution, and you’re motivated by improving both people outcomes and organisational performance. A collaborative mindset, strong judgement, and a steady, solutions-focused approach will see you succeed in this role.
