• Long-term Federal Government contract! • Canberra-based onsite role in high-stakes Cyber Security space! • Rewarding hourly rates $$ One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Lead Cyber Vulnerability Specialist (Lead Cyber Specialist) to strengthen cyber resilience across a complex enterprise ICT environment. The successful Cyber Vulnerability Specialist will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options , working onsite in Canberra . The successful Cyber Vulnerability Specialist will play a key role in identifying, assessing and prioritising cyber security vulnerabilities while providing risk-based advice to protect critical government systems and services. The successful Cyber Vulnerability Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Assess and prioritise cyber security vulnerabilities. • Conduct risk-based vulnerability assessments. • Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis. • Provide cyber security advice to stakeholders. • Support secure development and cyber governance. • Investigate security events and emerging threats. The successful Cyber Vulnerability Specialist will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience in cyber vulnerability management. • Strong experience with Tenable vulnerability platforms. • Experience using Splunk for security investigations. • Knowledge of secure development and DevSecOps practices. • Strong cyber risk assessment and communication skills. • Experience within Government or highly regulated environments.
