For more information on working with us and our recruitment process, please visit Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria | Jobs (www.dffh.vic.gov.au/jobs) THE ROLE The Manager Temporary Accommodation is responsible for leading the Temporary Accommodation Support team in providing temporary accommodation solutions for eligible households impacted by the January 2026 bushfires. The role is responsible for overseeing the Temporary Accommodation Support Team in delivering the assessment, application and case management of clients applying for and receiving government funded temporary accommodation support. The role will work collaboratively with individuals seeking temporary accommodation, their support service providers, internal stakeholders and the broader Victorian Government to develop initiatives that deliver client centred outcomes and high service standards for all those interacting with the program. The Manager Temporary Accommodation will also be responsible for the development, implementation and management of program performance and reporting systems to accurately track and monitor program effectiveness against defined parameters. To be considered for this role you will need to hold a valid unrestricted Victorian drivers licence and be able to commute to fire impacted communities as part of recovery efforts. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE • Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements. • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures. • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols that align with client centred support, legislation and the broader department to ensure effective program operations.
