About this role

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide timely and well-researched strategic policy advice to senior management in Queensland Health and to the Minister for Health in relation to Queensland Health's position and response to delayed discharge.

• Establish and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders, including with experts in relevant policy areas to obtain accurate and timely advice and guidance regarding the development and implementation of policy.

• Provide expert level advice and direction to Queensland Health divisions, state-wide clinical networks, Hospital and Health Services and other stakeholders and ensure is consistent with Queensland Health and government priorities and policies.

• Represent Queensland Health at an inter-agency level to progress and resolve policy issues.
