Our Opportunity Fixed Term until 31 December 2026 (Parental Leave) The Manager, Legal Services (Advice and Tribunal) leads a team responsible for supporting the Commission's Tribunal functions and providing regulatory legal advice across the organisation. This includes advice relating to freedom of information (FOI), privacy, delegations, governance matters, and commercial arrangements. This position plays a critical role in helping the organisation navigate complex legislative frameworks and exercise its regulatory powers in a robust, risk-informed manner. To be successful in this position you will have: • A relevant tertiary qualification in Law and admission to practise as an Australian Lawyer, holding a current Victorian Practising Certificate • Significant experience providing expert legal and policy advice on complex and sensitive matters within a regulatory environment. • A proven track record in leading and developing a legal services team to deliver high-quality and timely legal advice and support. • Demonstrated experience providing advice particularly on the practical application of statutory interpretation, administrative law, the preparation and construction of legal agreements and instruments (including instruments of delegation) • Ability to handle a large workload within limited timeframes.
