About the role

As the Manager, Property and Fleet Services, you will lead the effective delivery of property and fleet operations across Legal Aid Queensland, managing a small team and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and high performance. You will provide strategic advice on property, fleet and insurance arrangements, oversee capital works, refurbishments, maintenance planning and delivery, and manage office space planning, physical security systems and property assets.

The role also leads statewide emergency management planning and fire safety activities, drives improvements to systems, processes, policies and procedures, prepares briefing notes and reports, and develops and manages budgets, risk mitigation strategies and stakeholder relationships.

About you

We're seeking a confident and capable leader who brings:

• experience managing property and fleet functions, including budgets

• knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and standards for buildings and safety

• the ability to develop policies and procedures and deliver projects on schedule

• strong leadership capability, including coaching, accountability, collaboration and leading through change
