About this role

Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ) is a marine rescue service dedicated to protecting the safety of the Queensland boating community. Marine Rescue Queensland, established in 2024 is Queensland’s first single integrated state-wide service, serving the state’s coastline and waterways. This position will provide expert advice and support to the Strategy, Risk and Capability function within Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ).You will lead the development, coordination and evaluation of various projects relating to Strategy, Risk and Capability, understand how the business works and plan future business continuity requirements. You will partner collaboratively with specialists, Management to develop and implement robust, future focussed strategies and provide high-level strategic advice on projects to support the operational capability of a new integrated marine rescue service.
