About this role

Your new role:

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll support the delivery of essential pharmacy services by assisting with medicines inventory, dispensing, distribution, stock management and quality activities. Working as part of a collaborative hospital pharmacy team, you'll help ensure medicines are available, accurate and safely managed while contributing to exceptional care for patients across the health service.

About you:

You are a reliable and organised pharmacy professional who is passionate about supporting safe medicines management and delivering high-quality patient care within a hospital environment.nts

• Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent experience in pharmacy services

• Strong understanding of medicines inventory management, stock control and safe handling practices

• Ability to support dispensing, distribution and pharmacy operations under Pharmacist supervision

• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills with attention to detail

• Commitment to quality improvement, professional standards and delivering safe patient-focused services

QEII Jubilee Hospital's Pharmacy Department delivers comprehensive medication management services seven days a week, supported by a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy support staff. The service provides clinical pharmacy care, dispensary services, medicines inventory and distribution management, education and training, and contributes to hospital-wide safety, governance and quality improvement initiatives.
