Position overview • Employment Type: Full Time and Part Time positions available - please let us know your preferred hours as part of your application • Location: Warrnambool Campus • Classification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 • Salary Range: $65,042 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at our Warrnambool Campus. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and commitments. As part of our Pharmacy team, you will work alongside Pharmacists and other Pharmacy Technicians to support the safe, timely and efficient delivery of medication services across SWH. Your role will involve a variety of pharmacy activities, including clinical support, medication supply, stock management and day to day pharmacy operations. Key responsibilities include: • Assisting with dispensing prescriptions and preparing medication supplies • Managing pharmacy stock, including reviewing and replenishing ward medication supplies • Completing stock rotation and expiry checks to maintain safe inventory levels • Supporting prescription workflows and responding to patient enquiries • Maintaining accurate pharmacy records and documentation • Processing medication deliveries • Preparing manufactured pharmacy items • Patient medication management activities You will be joining a supportive team where your skills are valued, your attention to detail makes a difference, and every day offers the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care. What you bring You will have experience working in a pharmacy environment and a commitment to providing safe, accurate and efficient medication services.
