Working closely with technical specialists, local governments, industry and senior leaders, you will help shape outcomes that balance safety, network performance, economic development and community expectations. The role also provides the opportunity to mentor engineers and technical staff, strengthening capability across the region and supporting the next generation of engineering professionals.
What makes this opportunity different? • Lead complex engineering decisions across three diverse districts. • Provide expert advice on road safety, traffic engineering, heavy vehicle access and corridor management. • Influence outcomes that are subject to significant technical, governance and public scrutiny. • Build capability and provide technical leadership across regional teams. • Work with a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for Queensland communities. • Choose from Toowoomba, Bundaberg or Roma as your primary work location.
