Project Support Officer About the Role We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to provide administrative and project coordination support within a large, complex organisation. This role will contribute to the successful delivery of key projects by supporting governance, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining project records. • Draft, review, and maintain policies, procedures, and detailed work instructions. • Ensure project documentation is accurately maintained and stored in accordance with organisational standards. • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing approved improvements. • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project management documentation and reporting. Skills & Experience Essential • Experience in a project support, project administration, or project coordination role. • Experience developing and maintaining project documentation, policies, procedures, or similar business documentation. • Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgement and initiative. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality reports and documentation. • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. • Experience collecting, analysing, and collating information from multiple sources. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, including maintaining registers, databases, and spreadsheets. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information. • Sound understanding of project administration principles and practices. Desirable • Experience working within large, complex, or highly regulated organisations. • Experience supporting projects in government, public sector, regulatory, compliance, or similar environments. • Exposure to project management methodologies or governance frameworks.
