• Work in a leading Cardiac Cath Lab delivering complex, high-acuity interventional and electrophysiology procedures in a 24/7 service • Grow your specialist expertise with advanced cardiac imaging, modern technology and ongoing professional development in a supportive team • Permanent part-time role | 64 hours per fortnight | salary packaging About the role Join Barwon Health as a Radiographer (Gade 3), and play a pivotal role in delivering specialised imaging services within our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. As a senior clinical practitioner, you will provide expert imaging support for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring safe, accurate and high-quality patient care across a 24/7 service. Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to quality improvement, mentor colleagues, support teaching and research, and participate in the on-call STEMI service, all while using advanced imaging technology in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver specialised imaging services for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and best practice standards • Operate advanced imaging equipment independently, manage quality assurance processes, and identify and escalate equipment issues to ensure service reliability • Provide senior clinical leadership by supporting, mentoring and teaching colleagues, contributing to research and continuous quality improvement initiatives • Participate in the 24/7 Cardiac Catheter Laboratory service, including on-call, after-hours and emergency STEMI rosters, to deliver timely, patient-centred care What we’re looking for • Current AHPRA registration, valid Victorian Radiation Use Licence, and an ASMIRT-recognised tertiary qualification as a Medical Radiation Practitioner • Specialist Cardiac Cath Lab expertise, with demonstrated experience in complex procedures including electrophysiology, device implantation, CTO, structural heart procedures and cardiac CT pre-procedural workups • Proven ability to work independently in a 24/7 environment, including on-call scenarios, while consistently producing high-quality, safe diagnostic imaging in line with clinical safety standards • Broad clinical competence in cardiac imaging procedures, with experience in advanced imaging systems (Siemens and Canon highly regarded) and within a busy public health setting desirable Position Description Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
