Based on your prior experience you will be able to choose to work in one or more of the following areas. As an Acute Permanent Pool staff memeber you will be required to be able to work up to 50% of weekends and up to 30% night duties. • Critical Care • Oncology • Medical Services • Surgical Services • Renal Services • Cardiac Services • Sub-Acute Key responsibilities • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care using evidence-based practice • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate patient care • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards in clinical practice • Maintain accurate patient documentation and support continuous improvement in care delivery What we’re looking for • Have minimum 12 months of clinical experience • Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills • Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients • Delivering consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements About Central Resource Unit (CRU) CRU manages is the Acute Permanent Pool at Barwon Health that is resourced using Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives (+/- dual registration) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses. CRU provides staffing resources twenty four hours a day, seven days a week across the clinical units of Barwon Health to cover planned and emergent shortfalls within the service.
