Your Role and Contribution  In this role, you will play an important part in delivering safe, compassionate and evidence-based care to women and their families. You will also contribute to maintaining a positive team culture and supporting others within the unit. You will: • Provide safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care • Advocate for patients and support informed decision-making • Communicate clearly with patients and families about care and clinical interventions • Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care • Work collaboratively within a fast-paced acute surgical environment • Support and, where appropriate, mentor students and junior staff • Report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work closely with the multidisciplinary team
