About this role
The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) is part of the Courts and Tribunals division within the Department of Justice.QCAT is an independent tribunal established under the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2009. QCAT plays an integral role in the Queensland justice system with a mandate to provide a quick and inexpensive avenue to resolve and determine disputes, applications, reviews and referrals in a wide range of jurisdictions.As a Registry Officer, you will be responsible for managing files in line with established file management processes to ensure ongoing high quality of service to parties. You will also be responsible for assisting and supporting other registry officers carrying out the necessary administrative work for QCAT.As a Registry Officer, you may be required to work in either the CAD or HURD divisions of QCAT.
