One of Australia's high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Application and Systems Developer to work closely with business, technology and corporate stakeholders to deliver the uplift of critical applications and systems. The Senior Application and Systems Developer will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Senior Application and Systems Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Utilise JIRA and Scrum or Kanban approaches to deliver tasks, changes and products to ensure delivery of high-quality products and user experience • Making and contributing ideas, innovation and suggestions to resolve a list of simple to complex challenges. • Working closely with the Director, Cyber Security and Support teams to ensure compliance The successful Senior Application and Systems Developer will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated development experience in .NET stack, such as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Visual studio technologies • Experience in Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture • DevOps experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team within a leading Federal Government department.
