About the role

Permanent full time opportunity providing high quality, effective, efficient, professional and confidential senior executive support to the Chief Finance and Corporate Officer (CFCO), Metro North Health. The Senior Executive Officer will have a strategic focus enabling the CFCO to support Metro North Health and the greater community to achieve goals for improved patient care and services. The position will manage and coordinate the daily functioning of the Office of the CFCO and Corporate Business Services Executive Division to deleiver client focused executive management and achieve a high level of performance in a demanding executive environment

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, make informed decisions and achieve results including the ability to identify, analyse and resolve issues, plan, prioritise, delegate and meet frequently challenging and complex issues.

• Work closely with the CFCO and their senior leadership team to identify, develop and implement strategies and work practices which will improve the workflow efficiency and effectiveness of executive office functions.

• Provide high level confidential, independent, consistent and timely executive assistance to the CFCO in a complex, fast paced and sensitive working environment.

• Facilitate a strong and effective professional and consultative relationship with senior Executives, across Corporate Business Services, Metro North Health and key external stakeholders.
