Senior Genetic Counsellor Stewardship

We are seeking a skilled Genetic Counsellor to join Pathology Queensland’s Genetic Testing Stewardship Service. Working collaboratively with laboratory scientists, pathologists, clinicians and other stakeholders you will support mainstreaming by providing guidance and education on test ordering processes and pre-test requirements to support high-quality, clinically appropriate and cost-effective genetic testing. This role contributes to service improvement, patient safety and better clinical outcomes while offering an exciting opportunity to broaden your scope of practice by applying professional genetic counselling expertise within the fields of genomic pathology and laboratory medicine.
