As they continue to evolve, they are seeking an experienced HR professional to provide strategic people advice and support to their Executive Leadership Team and managers. The Opportunity This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior HR & Employee Relations professional looking for a flexible, part-time engagement where they can make a genuine impact. Working approximately one to two days per week, you will become a trusted advisor to leaders, providing practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of people matters. Operating in a hands-on advisory capacity, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders to navigate complex employee relations issues, strengthen workplace practices and support sound decision-making. If you enjoy working autonomously, influencing leaders and helping organisations manage risk while building a positive workplace culture, this role offers the opportunity to do just that. The Role Provide strategic and operational HR advice across a broad range of employee and workplace matters, including: • Providing high-level HR and employee relations advice to managers and executives • Coaching leaders through performance management, conduct and workplace behaviour matters • Advising on Fair Work legislation, employment compliance and modern award interpretation • Interpreting employment contracts and providing practical employment law guidance • Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and workplace documentation • Supporting workplace investigations and complex employee relations matters • Identifying organisational HR risks and recommending practical mitigation strategies • Providing HR input into executive and committee discussions • Promoting best practice people management and providing ongoing strategic HR guidance The Ideal Person You are an experienced HR and employee relations professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to solve complex people challenges and influence positive organisational outcomes. With a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices, you provide practical, commercially focused advice that balances compliance with business needs. You are confident managing sensitive employee relations matters, coaching leaders through performance and conduct issues, and developing policies and processes that support a positive workplace culture. A natural relationship builder, you quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders through your sound judgement, collaborative approach and ability to communicate clearly. Comfortable working autonomously while becoming a trusted extension of the leadership team, you thrive in environments where you can make a meaningful contribution and provide strategic HR guidance that delivers lasting value.
