About this role

The Senior Medical Clinical Coordinator (SMCC), is a clinical role based in the Operations Centre (OpCen) that provides specialist level physician advice regarding the clincal aspects of OpCen activities. Key aspects of the role include, specialist level risk stratification, clinical advice to paramedics and the provision of direct medical advice to patients and relevant parties requesting a QAS response.SMCCs work collaboratively with Paramedics, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, the broader QAS organisation and with other health care and emergency services staff to provide high quality, patient centred care to the Queensland community.
