About the Role Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and retiring infrastructure capabilities that support critical digital services. This includes physical, virtual, networking, and cloud-based infrastructure environments, ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with organisational requirements. Key Duties & Responsibilities Working collaboratively with and under the guidance of nominated client personnel, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, but not limited to, the following: • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve and optimise the implementation, utilisation, and management of data-driven business solutions. • Diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues in partnership with internal teams and stakeholders. • Engage with business-led technology teams to provide solution expertise, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous capability uplift. • Participate in platform configuration planning, administration, and ongoing management activities. • Identify and communicate design, implementation, testing, quality, risk, assumption, and dependency considerations to relevant stakeholders. • Develop and maintain system design documentation, implementation artefacts, technical procedures, and operational policies. • Perform technical assessments, solution design, configuration, and deployment of new capabilities across data platform environments. • Ensure compliance with ICT policies, security standards, governance frameworks, and operational procedures. • Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and support to technical teams to enhance capability and knowledge sharing Professional Responsibilities The successful candidate will also be expected to: • Maintain current knowledge of information technology practices, processes, and emerging technologies through ongoing professional development. • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders, technical teams, and business partners. • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of ICT practices, standards, and procedures. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support team capability development. • Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and engage with broader organisational teams. • Take accountability for delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines while sharing expertise and supporting the development of less experienced team members. • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and information in accordance with organisational policies and requirements.
