This includes design and implementation of programs and developing policy to drive cultural change and public sector leadership on gender equality, and strengthen women's health, wellbeing, economic equity, safety and access to leadership opportunities. The role requires you to be a proactive self-starter with an understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast-paced environment. You will lead and support a range of projects and core portfolio functions, including program management, preparation of a range of written products, policy development and coordination tasks. The role also requires high levels of adaptability, resilience and attention to detail, and a commitment to contributing to a professional and supportive work environment. We recognise diversity and a team representative of the Victorian community is critical to our team's success in embedding an intersectional gender lens across government and in the broader Victorian community. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE • Provide authoritative strategic advice to the Minister for Women, the Secretary and senior officers in gender equality and related policy areas, including Cabinet submissions and initiatives proposed by departments and agencies. • Prepare high quality correspondence, briefings and cabinet submissions. • Conduct strategic analysis and to inform the development of policy, programs and specific projects within defined areas.
