What your day could look like
As a Senior Project Officer, you'll help deliver projects that strengthen services, systems, and ways of working across the health service. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll turn ideas into practical outcomes that support teams, patients, and communities.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
• Leading multiple projects to deliver agreed outcomes on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Building strong relationships that support collaboration, engagement, and successful project delivery.
• Managing risks, priorities, and performance to keep projects on track and achieve results.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance capability, and drive innovation.

You're a confident and adaptable project professional who enjoys bringing people together to achieve shared goals. You communicate effectively, think strategically, and stay focused when managing competing priorities. You'll take pride in delivering meaningful improvements that create lasting value for staff, patients, and the community while demonstrating Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
• Proven experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong skills in planning, reporting, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and use sound judgement in a fast-paced environment.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have project management, Agile, PRINCE2, or IT service management certifications, and/or experience delivering technology or service improvement projects.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about creating positive change, supporting others, and delivering outcomes that make a real difference.
