About the role This is a Fixed Term Position until 24 September 2027 The Senior Wayfinding Development Advisor leads the design and development of static and digital wayfinding systems that help passengers navigate the transport network safely and easily. The role ensures wayfinding solutions are user-focused, accessible, consistent, and aligned with Department of Transport and Planning standards while providing expert advice to support project delivery and decision-making. The role also drives continuous improvement by developing innovative wayfinding solutions, improving design and production processes, managing suppliers and consultants, undertaking cost-benefit analysis, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, efficient, and passenger-focused outcomes. Qualifications and experience You’ll bring: • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering wayfinding systems in complex or similar environments. • Strong knowledge of user-centred wayfinding principles and best-practice design. The ability to develop practical, accessible wayfinding solutions that improve the customer experience. • Demonstrated experience in understanding and applying system design, strategic and graphic forms. • Graphic design skills and experience in using the Adobe Creative Design suite.
