What you will do as the Senior Web Developer (Drupal) This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Web Developer with strong Drupal expertise to contribute to meaningful, user-focused digital services in an Australian Government environment. The role will suit a collaborative and technically capable developer who enjoys solving complex problems, improving website performance and security, and delivering accessible, reliable digital solutions that support important public outcomes. • Translate business and technical requirements into practical Drupal solutions, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, infrastructure teams and external service providers. • Design, develop and maintain secure, accessible and high-performing Drupal websites, web applications, custom modules, themes and templates. • Investigate, resolve and improve complex web platform issues, including performance, caching, integrations, background processing, security and reliability. • Contribute to the full development lifecycle by preparing technical documentation, participating in code reviews, testing and quality assurance, supporting release activities and maintaining source control practices.
