About this role

About the role This is a permanent full-time position within the Procurement team, based at Council’s Moruya Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of Council’s Store, including coordinating stock control processes, ensuring accurate inventory management, supporting procurement activities, and maintaining efficient and compliant store practices. About you You’re an organised and proactive leader with a strong understanding of store operations, inventory control, and customer‑focused service delivery. You enjoy improving processes, supporting your team, and ensuring the smooth running of a busy environment. Your application will also demonstrate the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Operations (including Warehousing Operations) or equivalent industry experience in a similar role. • Experience in stores or inventory management, including the ability to manage inventory systems and processes effectively. • Leadership and team supervision experience, with the ability to coordinate store operations efficiently. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • The ability to work collaboratively as a valued member of a dynamic team.
