In this role you’ll enjoy - • Flexible working arrangements including the flex time scheme • A culture of supporting continuous professional development • Payment of your annual registration fees with NSW Fair Trading • Employee wellness program and a range of lifestyle benefits • Values based culture and a teams oriented working environment Our opportunity: The key focus areas of this role include: 1) Ensure compliance with swimming pool legislation by conducting inspections and investigations of swimming pool barriers, assessing applications for compliance certificate and exemption, and issuing notices, directions, and penalty infringements. 2) Represent Council in legal proceedings on matters relating to swimming pool legislation including attendance at court. 3) Provide advice and guidance to our community, through verbal and written enquiries and participate in the delivery of educational programs. About you: We’re looking for a people orientated professional who has a working knowledge of swimming pool compliance inspections and relevant legislation to join our Building Control team. You’ll bring attention to detail and a customer focus to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
